David studied composition, music education, and performance at the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts (University of the Arts). He continued his postgraduate studies in teaching at West Chester University and Endicott College, further refining his skills as both an artist and educator.
Early in his career, David toured extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions as a singer and pianist, performing as both a soloist, sideman, and with his own ensemble. His repertoire blended original compositions with audience favorites, earning him recognition for his expressive piano style and dynamic stage presence. He is particularly known for his original piano works, as well as his interpretations of music by Billy Joel, jazz standards, and distinctive vocal stylings.
For the past two decades, David has been a central figure in Maine’s musical community. He currently serves as Director of the Maine Pops Concert Band and the Chandlers Military Band, where he continues to inspire audiences and mentor musicians across the region.
